Shaywan Productions is a media production company run by Andrew Vaughan. The name “Shaywan” is taken from his mother’s maiden name “Xie”, the Chinese character for “thank you”, and “Wan”, the Chinese rendition of his father’s surname, meaning “ten thousand.”

Based in Houston, Andrew Vaughan has been working in production for over 7 years. He became entranced with the field of media as a means to convey information with the highest degree of effectiveness. His personal philosophy is that there is a never-ending challenge with media production: to convey an idea or belief with 100% efficiency.

For that matter, he finds clarity and narrative to be an essential aspect when it comes to the creative process. In a world overwhelmed with distractions and worries, viewers are more receptive to what clarifies or speaks to them personally. Communication is a two-way street, and the goal is to connect the idea to the viewer as seamlessly as possible, using a competent team of professionals throughout the entire creative process.
